Andy and his partner Julie started their property business, Enable Property Solutions in 2018. The plan was to supplement pension income with a small amount of rental income in retirement but it was soon clear that an opportunity existed to create something far more substantial.
Seven years on they have created a portfolio of 60 HMO rooms, opened their own lettings business (VaVaRoom), converted 6 family homes into small children’s homes and are on the brink of launching a 16 bed aparthotel.
They have used their SSAS Pension in creative ways to help them build their businesses.
