In our short session we will be covering the key aspects that you need to be aware of so you will be confident in working out what your gross income is, what this means in terms of when it will be impacting your property business and what you will need to be doing when it arrives for you.
Our presenter is Kimberley Shapcott who is an experienced qualified chartered accountant working with many property investors. She has more than 20 years working in accountancy and taxation field assisting investors, company directors and those who need to ensure they are in control of their tax affairs
Kimberley runs an accountancy practice with her team of 20 to support clients deal with their compliance requirements as well as ensure that they are in control of their tax affairs. This is to minimise tax liabilities through planning and ensure they get it right to give peace of mind and enable any plans to develop into reality. Our clients have covered a range of property strategies including rent to rent, rent to SA, SA businesses, buy to lets, HMOs, commercial property, lease options and many more. We have client who are just getting started and those with up to 30/40 properties in their portfolio. We have seen those at the beginning and at the end of their property adventures to which we look to support them through these phases to minimise any taxes where possible.
In addition to this, she has built a property portfolio with her husband over the last 9 years with investments in Derby with student HMOs, buy to lets and a commercial property. Having completed a range of property training through Legacy (Asset Academy), Progressive Property and Prosperity Property to give a wealth of knowledge on all property strategies. This has provided real insight having completed back to brick refurbishments, the financing and refinancing side of property.
