Personally I started out investing in property in 2007, not having a clue what I was doing. Fast forward 15 years I engaged in a JV with a local agent and helped them scale from 0 to over 400+ managed professional rooms in under 4 years, rented over 2000 rooms and houses combined, bought, sold and sourced HMO’s for other landlords.
Whilst working alongside agents I saw the bottle neck the lack of reliable tradesmen caused with getting maintenance issues carried out in a timely manner. This caused considerable kick back from the tenants. I also learnt the importance of staging every room in its best light to entice prospective tenants through the door, and how tenants want the move in process to be as efficient and hassle free as possible. From this learning we have created a bespoke HMO management company, a property maintenance company and a cleaning company that all work hand in hand, to ensure the lettings company works as smoothly as possible for everyone involved.
It has been ALOT of hard work, late nights and there has been many hurdles and sleepless nights along the way. We have decided to take our experience, mistakes, frustrations, systems and expertise within the HMO market to build a bulletproof formula for managing HMOs. We now offer this service out to other landlords / investors.
